John Larson began his career at Boeing, where he was an associate technical fellow in systems engineering. Since co-founding IS4S in 2008, John has led and performed systems engineering and project management activities for government customers and defense industry OEMs for numerous air, ground, and maritime combat systems. John is currently serving as the IS4S chief engineer for the US Air Force R-EGI program, our largest program to date. Before that, he was the IS4S chief engineer for the BLU-136 Design Agent program, our largest program at that time.   

John has 46 years of experience in the definition, development, and integration of complex systems including aerospace systems, real-time embedded systems, and manned and unmanned platforms. He has over 30 years' experience in the management of programs ranging from development of large-scale mission critical systems to fast-paced concept feasibility and technology exploration for IS4S and The Boeing Company. During his 30-year career at Boeing, he led and performed all aspects of systems and software engineering for complex aerospace and defense systems including the F-22 Raptor, B-1B and B-52 bombers; US Army tactical missile systems; and the International Space Station.
