All Source. Standardized. Community Developed.

ASPN is a data standard that describes what PNT data should be exchanged for consistent usage and interoperability of PNT estimators across different systems, sources, and users.

ASPN defines navigation message content of both the PNT information sources and the PNT users. These definitions enable PNT estimators to be built using these message content definitions.

The ASPN Impact

  • Abstract icon, concentric squares cut into triangles, similar to radar.

Implements wider sensor support without data model modification

  • Abstract icon, square surrounded by four triangles.

Enables application across multiple services, platforms, and systems

  • Abstract icon, three triangles stacked on to each other pointing upwards.

    Enhances compatibility without requiring coordination

  • Abstract icon, square with a triangle interlaid pointing downward.

    Sustained by community-driven innovation

PNT engineers benefit from the ability to add or remove sensors to adapt to different applications without redesigning their PNT estimation software.
