Avionics
Our team’s avionics solutions focus on using software-defined radios for avionics applications.

Digital Engineering (DE)
IS4S seeks to go beyond just model-based systems engineering (MBSE) for digital engineering (DE).
We are implementing digital twins to include physics-based models, product lifecycle management, ECAD/MCAD, and more. These digital twins allow us to support airworthiness and platform integration requirements.

Logistics
Our IS4S Warner Robins office is located in close proximity to the Robins AFB and the Air Logistics Complex, and we have a standing partnership with the AF Sustainment Center Software Group. We are currently collaborating to problem-solve the supply chain obsolescence issues facing many fielding systems today.

Satellite Command and Control (C2) Ground Systems
We are supporting the building of ground systems performing satellite command and control (C2). Our team is specifically working on telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C), satellite/constellation management, modeling and simulation, and rendezvous proximity operations and docking.

DevSecOps
The IS4S Warner Robins office has not created our own software pipeline. Instead, we have teamed with the government and AWS to use Platform One Big Bang.
This method has allowed the government to own the pipeline, to readily see progress of software products, and to leverage existing authority to operate (ATOs).

James Wilson
Senior Vice President

James Wilson is a retired USAF officer who founded the IS4S Warner Robins site after 26 years as an acquisition and physics officer, ending his career as a senior materiel leader with five materiel leaders reporting to him across two units.
During his career, James has served across several functional areas and covered both air and space systems. He started his career in flight test of special operations aircraft, then moved to intelligence at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) while supporting the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). From there James moved through logistics at an Air Logistics Center (ALC) then moved to the Space Based Infra-Red System (SBIRS), working the space vehicle and sensor integration. He spent time as a Program Element Monitor (PEM) at the Air Staff as the 5th gen branch chief for the F-22 and F-35. James was selected as a materiel leader for the military GPS user equipment program before he returned to D.C. on the joint staff J8 overseeing space, business systems, and cyber (offense and defense) systems.
James is a proponent of open systems and interfaces. He was instrumental in establishing open interfaces for avionics line replaceable units (LRUs) and shop replaceable units (SRUs). He expanded his open system pursuit into software specifically in the containerized area.
James oversees Warner Robins operations in his role as site lead.
