IS4S Wins DHS Contract to Develop a Status Indicator for Downed Power Lines

Huntsville, AL 

IS4S announced that it has been awarded a $100,000 contract by the United States Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate. The award will enable the development and testing of a fully functional prototype of an innovative status line indicator capable of detecting and reporting the location of downed power lines. The commercialization of this product will enable rapid power restoration as well as a warning system to civilians and first responders in the area of energized downed power lines.
